Special Session 15

Renewable Energy, Power Technologies and Energy Conversion

With the accelerating transition toward carbon-neutral energy systems, rapid advances in renewable generation, power electronics, high-efficiency energy conversion, and intelligent control are reshaping how electricity is produced, delivered, and utilized. These enabling technologies not only improve conversion efficiency and operational reliability, but also create new opportunities for large-scale renewable integration, electrified transportation and industry, and interactive energy networks.

The Renewable Energy, Power Technologies and Energy Conversion Conference focuses on the latest research and real-world innovations that support efficient energy conversion and the secure, scalable integration of renewables into modern power systems. Emphasis is placed on end-to-end solutions spanning renewable power generation and conversion, power electronic devices and converter topologies, motor drives and control systems, and emerging Energy Internet architectures such as microgrids, distributed energy resources, and intelligent energy management. The goal is to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and accelerate the development of clean, efficient, and resilient energy solutions.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

1. Renewable Generation and Grid Integration

2. Energy Conversion: Efficiency and Reliability

3. Power Electronics for Renewables, Storage and Charging

4. SiC/GaN Devices and High-Frequency Conversion

5. Converter/Inverter Design and Control

6. Motor Drives and Electrification

7. Diagnostics, Fault-Tolerance and Predictive Maintenance

8. Data-Driven Energy Management, Optimization & Digital Twins
